The London team is experiencing a great moment just like the Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off series

The Sonic the Hedgehog movies have resulted in a new golden age for the SEGA franchise, leading to new projects such as the successful spin-off Knuckles. Today, the Japanese IP rubs shoulders with the most famous brands, and its impact reaches even to English football.

The Arsenal celebrates the premiere and success of Knuckles on Paramount+

The Knuckles series premiered this weekend on Paramount+, and the reception has been impressive. So much so that the promotional campaign includes a collaboration with the Arsenal FC of the English Premier League, a London team that curiously shares colors with the SEGA character and is also experiencing a great moment as it competes for the championship with Manchester City.

The promotional material showcases the Knuckles series in action alongside both the men's and women's Arsenal teams triumphing in their respective leagues:

Paramount+'s series has done its part; now it's Arsenal's turn to win the Premier League to celebrate alongside the TV series and the SEGA franchise. In case you didn't know, the football team and the Japanese company already have a history together, as in the late 90s and early 2000s SEGA was a sponsor of the team, and fondly remembered is the jersey that featured the Dreamcast logo.

The Knuckles series has already made history on Paramount+ becoming the most successful original production they've had to date with over 4 million hours viewed, a milestone that comes at a great time as this year the third Sonic movie will be released.
