In 2022, the video game industry delighted fans with very exciting releases. Undoubtedly, one of the most talked-about was Dying Light 2: Stay Human, the latest installment in the popular franchise of zombies and parkour. To celebrate the 2nd anniversary, developers have a pleasant surprise in store.
Just like the original release in 2015, the sequel has received many updates since its launch on February 4, 2022. These updates, some free and others paid, improved the user experience and added new content that expanded the mechanics and the story.
It's important to note that the game primarily focuses on melee combat, but that will change very soon. This is because Techland is ready to release a special patch that will introduce firearms. Fortunately, the good news doesn't stop there.

Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition announced, and you can play it for free for a limited time
The update that adds firearms will debut alongside the Reloaded Edition, a new edition of the game that includes the Bloody Ties expansion and all the improvements that have arrived since the original release in 2022.
This new version of the parkour and zombie video game will be available starting February 22 and will replace the standard edition. This means that players who already have the base game can access the benefits of this new edition entirely for free.
Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition also includes new cooperative missions and visual improvements to the faces of zombies, vegetation, etc. Additionally, the developers promise new single-player content and hint at surprises for fans of the first installment.
Techland wants to celebrate the release of this new edition with a surprise that will excite new players. If you are interested but never gave it a try, you'll be glad to know that you can play for free this title on PC for a limited time.
Specifically, Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition will host a free weekend from February 22 to 26 on Steam. During that period, players can embark on this adventure without spending a penny. The developers did not reveal if there will be limitations, so it's unknown if you can reach the end credits if you're fast enough. However, progress will be maintained and transferred to the full version if you decide to purchase it.
