Player got the GTA V Platinum trophy and shows it off as it took him 11 years to achieve it; PlayStation community celebrated his accomplishment

One player decided to platinum one of his favorite games: Grand Theft Auto V, one of the most ambitious titles from Rockstar Games. Completing this feat requires tens of hours and a lot of patience, as there are trophies that can be tedious to obtain.

The fan, known as A1m6d on Reddit, recently shared his story because of a peculiar detail. It took him 11 years to earn the Platinum trophy in the game. The community was amazed by the player's persistence and celebrated his achievement despite the long wait.

Player Platinums GTA V After 11 Years

A1m6d made a post on Reddit to share that, after many years of playing, he finally managed to obtain all the trophies in Grand Theft Auto V. As expected, the player shared an image showing that he indeed has the Platinum trophy for the title, called “Legend of Los Santos”.

Every player knows that completing GTA V 100% is a challenging task, as there are many trophies to obtain. According to various metrics, platinuming the game requires between 80 and 200 hours of gameplay, approximately. A1m6d decided to take things slowly and took 11 years to complete all the missions and tasks in the open-world game.

“Well, it was a long journey but, I did it! 11 years.”

According to the image the player shared, the Platinum trophy for GTA V is ultra-rare, as only 0.01% of players have unlocked it. Unfortunately, the fan did not reveal how many hours he spent to achieve it over the past 11 years.

Some PlayStation players reacted to his post and congratulated him for his achievement. The community agrees that it’s one of the most difficult Platinum trophies to earn due to all it entails.

The Community Celebrated the Feat in GTA V

Some players stated they are not completionists, so they don’t spend time unlocking all the trophies in their games. However, they acknowledged A1m6d’s effort and great achievement. Some GTA V fans even said they would now accept the challenge and try to platinum Rockstar’s title.

“I've grown to care less and less about being a completionist these days... but this is rather amazing! Awesome job! This is a game that would make me to commit to the journey.”

Other community members talked about how difficult it is to earn the Platinum trophy for the title. They believe players who unlock it should receive a special reward for all their effort.
