Squid Game will return soon with its Season 2. The Netflix series had unprecedented success, so the company is already working on several franchise projects, including the production's Season 3 and a video game.
Now we know that it will also team up with Activision to bring Squid Game content to Call of Duty. To be more specific, Black Ops 6 and Warzone will receive special themed items inspired by the universe created by Hwang Dong-hyuk.
When will the Call of Duty and Squid Game collaboration happen?
Activision and Netflix want to take advantage of the arrival of the new episodes of Squid Game to surprise Call of Duty players. The companies released a teaser trailer confirming the collaboration between the two franchises.
We know that Activision will launch special limited-time game modes and thematic updates for Warzone, the Zombies mode, and Black Ops 6. For now, there is no specific information about what will be offered, but it is certain that it will include content inspired by the popular series.
