The popularity of Terminator is immense, which is why it has had several video game adaptations. Its return to the industry was scheduled for this year with Terminator Survivors, a project that was ultimately delayed until 2025.
Apparently, there is another surprise related to the popular saga on the way. We say this because a new project was recently leaked in a classification system. It is Terminator 2D: NO FATE, a mysterious game from Reef Entertainment.
What do we know about Terminator 2D: NO FATE, the new leaked game from the saga?
The Australian Classification Board revealed a nice surprise for Terminator fans. It leaked information about a new game called Terminator 2D: NO FATE, which is developed and will be distributed by Reef Entertainment.
The company has previously worked with the franchise, as it was responsible for distributing Terminator: Resistance, a title that received mixed reviews from players and the specialized press.
The record reveals very few details about Terminator 2D: NO FATE, whose name suggests it will be a 2D title. Officially, we know it will be a multiplatform release, as it will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The Australian body has given Terminator 2D: NO FATE a Mature rating, so it is recommended for players aged 15 and over due to the presence of violence and vulgar language.
Unfortunately, there are no more details about Terminator 2D: NO FATE; however, its classification suggests that its reveal, and possibly its release, are closer than many fans think. For now, there are no images or a trailer for the project.
What happened with Terminator Survivors?
As we mentioned, Terminator Survivors was set to debut this year, but Nacon Studio Milan decided to delay it. This was with the goal of improving all aspects of the survival title and delivering the experience that hardcore fans have been waiting for.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't have a new release date for early access. We only know that it will be available on PC sometime in 2025. Later, its version 1.0 will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and computers.
